SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service govern your participation in the text-message program operated by Carolyn Daniels for Assembly 2026 ("the Campaign," "we," "us").
Program Description
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated and informational text messages from the Campaign about events, voter information, fundraising appeals, volunteer opportunities, election reminders, and other campaign updates.
Opt-In
To opt in, you must affirmatively provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box on a Campaign sign-up form. Consent is not a condition of any contribution or volunteer commitment.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You can expect up to 10 messages per month, with potentially higher frequency in the days leading up to the election.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Check with your carrier for details. The Campaign does not charge a fee for these messages.
Opt-Out
You can opt out of the program at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages from this program.

Supported Carriers
The Campaign's SMS program supports all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with the effective date at the top.
