Sacramento has lost the plot.
The supermajority in the state capitol is hell-bent on making California as expensive as possible, but they call it “affordability.”
Housing in California is already more expensive than the rest of the country. Progressive policies have made it worse.
Gas prices are skyrocketing because oil refineries are shutting down.
Entertainment industry jobs are moving to ABC: Anywhere But California.
Californians are losing their insurance policies because providers are being chased away.
Homeless are still on the streets,
“housing first” doesn’t work, and crime is still plaguing our neighborhoods and local businesses, despite billions spent over a decade by Sacramento.
Every day, California is dumping millions of gallons of fresh water into the ocean, instead of storing it for drought years. Meanwhile, they expect the rest of us to ration water.
Sacramento keeps taking more and more of our money, but what do we have to show for it?
Problems that have only gotten worse.
A whole lot of missing money.
More families fleeing the state.
Even billionaires can’t afford to stay here.
The Golden State feels like a half-empty shopping mall.
We need leaders in Sacramento who have the guts to say the hard things:
“No.”
“We can’t afford that.”
“No.”
“You want to do WHAT? That’s insane.”
”No.”
“Where did the money go?”
“No.”
“What’s that going to cost the average household?”
“No.”
I’m ready for action.
